Vic Motiff—the original.
Victor Motiff started plastering in Belgium and brought his trade with him through Ellis Island to Green Bay, WI.
Vic Motiff and Son
Actually, there were two sons—Tom and Bob. They worked on a restoration of Raspberry Island (pictured above) back in the early 80's. Mitch started working for the company at age 14 and has learned from the best. Bob retired in the early 90's and the company operated as a partnership between father and son until Tom retired in 1998.
Motiff Plastering
When Tom retired, he moved to Bayfield where his wife was born and raised. Mitch and his family decided that this was a pretty great place to live and raise a family, so the art of plaster has made its way to the Chequamegon Bay area.
The move to the Bayfield area meant changing more than just the scenery. Mitch now works on his own which means you get the best of the best: his own skill, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
